Going in to the office is a peculiar experience these days. Familiar is now strange and order is now reordered. Here are some things to think about….
Be welcoming – some people are using offices they are unfamiliar with, so show them the ropes and make sure they can access the basics
Be kind – always say hello and make people who aren’t a part of your usual team a part of your unusual team
Be hospitable – share your territory and make occasional visitors feel respected and valued
Be inclusive – involve everyone in your conversation so that no one feels left out, everyone’s contribution is important
Be brave – acknowledge your own emotions and fears, embrace change and recognise that others will be doing their best, just like you
