With our homes now becoming our workplaces, I wanted to change the 70s wardrobe doors that constantly feature behind me in my virtual meetings, a bit of an upgrade. I asked my friends at www.wallbos.co.uk if they could print a wall mural for me to stick over them.
A mural of a Japanese garden was an obvious choice for me. I lived in Japan for a year and the gardens and historic architecture made a big, and calm, impression on me.
Now, when I’m in my zoom meetings I’ll be able to tell my colleagues all about the samurai and courtiers just beyond view, and the calligraphers inside the tatami room capturing the life of the emperor….. or maybe the ninja warriors hiding in the trees! Who knows might be in the garden by tomorrow!
