I’m so excited to have received the second draft of The Self-Awareness Superhighway’s front cover.
I’ve spent a lot of time looking at covers of books in book stores and online. I’ve tilted my head sideways to look at spines until I’ve felt seasick!! I think getting the right balance of colours, information and pizzazz without making the cover too loud, noisy and busy is where it’s at.
So that’s where we are right now – balancing colours, information and pizzazz.
* Colours need to jump off the shelf.
* Information needs to be legible and accessible
* Pizzazz needs to be its all over shelf-appeal
Still playing around with colours, reducing some of the noise to increase accessibility and the shelf appeal is coming along nicely!
