I went to the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year with one eye on the leadership of the event. I came away with 3 thoughts…
- Impeccable planning. This is a massive event that runs like clockwork and is incresibly impressive. It has a huge array of cars and bikes to suit every speed enthusiast
- People flow. There are people everywhere, but whenever you need a bin or a toilet or a car park or a bridge to cross the hill, there is one there. The Team has obviously learnt about how people flow through the site and have planned the environment with the people in mind
- Calibre of display. The displays are meticulous, well polished and future focussed. There is no-one pressurising you to spend money or getting you involved in activities you don’t want to take part in. It is elegance and magnificence with a little bit of dust, fuel fumes and burnt rubber
I absolutely love it!
Thank you, once again!
